Our last show in March was sold out, and last year's summer bash was also standing room only, so definitely reserve early! It helps us know the turn out for seating but more importantly the venue so they can staff appropriately!

Show starts at 6:00pm until about 8pm (all depends on how much we talk!)

Our Summer Bash in July will be held on their patio weather permitting. If it is raining or the heat is to hot, we will move inside!

Our Harvest Moon Session in September will be depending on weather! If its a beautful fall night we might be ok on the patio, otherwise we will be indoors!

Our Cozy Cabin Session in November will 100% be held indoors!

Yes! The show is all ages, as the venue is a restaurant and allows all ages at any time, however please note we are allowed and might swear on stage occasionally! We also might be singing songs with heavier topics.

We know this might be your first time attending a songwriter round in a listening room, and it could be many people's first time around you!

Listening Room Etiquette: Songwriter rounds are an intimate, acoustic performance where multiple musicians sit together on stage, take turns playing original songs, and share the personal stories behind their lyrics. Because of this, the audience is expected to remain quiet and attentive to the artists and their stories, rather than treating the music as background noise!

• At the start of the show and each round the host always reminds the audience of this rule by saying that "We hope to create an atmosphere where you want to be continuously engaged and listen to the songs we are singing!"

While we love cover songs, audiences can find a cover gig any time. We want to stay true to our core values of giving artists/songwriters a platform for people to experience being in a "listening room" and hear the stories behind original music!

Yes! We will have a small merch table where we will have our guest book, tip jar and space so artists can bring CDs / stickers / business cards / a few shirts / small items if they'd like to have them for guests (they set the price and handle all exchange of goods!). We will never take a cut!

We always recommend and would LOVE for you to stay for the whole show to ensure you get the full Songbird Coven experience!

We do have two rounds, with a break in between so if you do need to leave or arrive late we reccomend coming during that time to avoid disruptions (approc 6:50 to 7:10pm)

• 5-5:45pm: Arrive and get settled
• 6pm: Show starts
• 6-6:50pm: Round 1: First round of songwriters (1 host & 3 guests) perform 3 songs each in a round robin style, each taking a turn discussing the song we wrote and then signing it.
• 6:50-7:10pm: 20 min Break: Artists from round 2 line check & switch over, bathroom break, grab a drink
• 7:10-8pm: Round 2: Second round of songwriters (1 host & 3 guests) perform 3 songs each in a round robin style, each taking a turn discussing the song we wrote and then signing it.
• 8pm: End of the Night / Tear Down: Thank yous, audience can visit merch table, sign guest book, chat with performers, gear tear down, etc

While we know the person you originally came to see might only be playing for half the show, we would love if you came early or stayed after their round to support all songwriters, and for less disruptions as it is a listening room!

If you have to come in the middle of the show or leave after the first round, we kindly ask that you do so in the quickest way possible.

These times are all estimates as it all depends on how much we talk!

Keep in mind this is an acoustic / stripped down event!

• We will have a tip jar out on our merch table for people to give cash tips
• We also have QR codes on every table and on a banner that will allow folks to tip virtually - you can also click here
• The tips collected will be split evenly among all performers of the evening
• There will also be a small merch table where artists will have their own merch to browse and purchase directly from them

This is a safe space and event where songwriters are free to talk about their song and why they wrote it and the topics regarding it, even if they are heavy topics.

We have has songwriters tell us stories about their struggles with addition, mental health, chronic illness, domestic abuse, violence, loss, abortion, being unhoused, and more.

However please keep in mind that we are strong allies in this industry and actively support, advocate for, and stand in solidarity with a marginalized and/or underrepresented groups. We wont tolerate any songs, behaviour or speech that is extremely hateful, bigoted, demeaning, sexist, racist, homophobic and/or transphobic.

We believe in paying creatives for their artistry and supporting them in any way we can.

Our platform's focus is on indie songwriters, however we welcome folks of at any stage of their career!
